The church had a need for an area where refreshments could be prepared and served and where members could meet for social occasions. A Waterloo fund (a need for WATER and a LOO) was started and the project was completed in April 1997.
The North aisle was cleared of the fixed pews and the kitchen and storage was erected as shown in a style contemporary with the church furniture. The sink and water is situated on the right hand side under a wooden lid which can be raised when needed.. The toilet is behind the door in what used to be the porch of the entrance to the North aisle. Chairs are set out if extra seating is needed for church services.
